Pumpkin Time

Matt and I went to the pumpkin patch this weekend! We went to Lee's farm, it was a big place with everything a kid could want ha! Mini ferris wheel, pony rides, petting zoo, hay maze...the works! It was fun and we got there when it wasn't raining (miracle). BEFORE:
This is my lovely advanced pumpkin carving haha Its hard to see when its not lit but its the Phoenix Suns logo. Go steve!!!!

This is Matt's, he got a 'special' pumpkin :) Sour face!
Hope everyone has a happy, safe, and dry Halloween!

Work

I have successfully completed my first week back at work. lol It is not a fun or exciting job, that's for sure. I'm on the phones all day long...as many of you know, I'm not exactly a 'phone-person' to begin with so, this should be interesting. The nice thing is that I really get along with the girl that I am working with, so its not AS dreadful to go to work :)

My Dog is turning into a terrorist. Seriously. And I'm pretty positive its because she got so used to us being home all of the time and being able to take her on walks every day. Ever since we started working she is so annoying to come home to :) I still love her of COURSE but her energy level is 100x's higher than mine!!! I still try to go on walks every day when I get home but half the time its RAINING. I hate rain. And its only going to get worse....

So I've been name-thinking. I know I have a ways to go but Sara requires me to text her a name suggestion every DAY to get feedback :) haha fun game. And even though she hates half of these I still love them. So here.....Jade, Caden, Kaydence, Brevyn, Rocco, Ruby, Sophia, Mae, Finn

Also, I'm starting to freak out about once the baby is born and what I'm going to do. I've never believed in daycare, but I know I will have to be making some sort of income after he or she is born. I wish I could come up with a work from home job. That would be so ideal. So anyone with suggestions please help.

Aye...

Tomorrow matt and I finally get back to work. I'm not excited about my office job, but I am incredibly excited for the 1st couple paychecks. They will be a weight lifted off our shoulders thats for sure!
We went to our new ward today and I think we're going to like it. LOTS of crying babies in sacrament; which might be a bad thing to most but good for me! :) I hope we can meet some young couples pretty soon.
I've decided I'm going to take a picture in the same outfit every month until I explode with a baby. lol so lets all take a moment of silence to remember me before I expand...

Gentry's Family Reunion

The day after we got home we...left again. :) We went to the washington coast for Matt's family reunion. The weather was beautiful and it nice to just relax!!!
Matt n' Molly
This is her 'I believe I can fly, too bad I'm too fat. So I'll just look like i'm standing on the ground..in mid air' talent.

Awww family photo of the Gentrys

Son and Pops! aka twins

Haha this is Psycho on the beach. As her first time to the beach she didn't recognize any of the smells. So, her plan was to go in the water, stick her nose deep into the sand and come back up for some nostril clearing. Her face was a mound of sand. Funny stuff

Ocean Shores, WA

Me and my daughter

Homeward Bound!!

One of the happier times....back to where we came from! :) This road trip was the prettiest of all. TREES. Green freaking trees!!! Amazing how much you miss the little things...and the large. We are so so happy to be back and breathe in the oregon air!!!
"Come hommmmmmmmmme"
Beautiful. Norther Cali
"Are we there yet?"

Looking lovely at the 12th hour of drive time.... :)

This was weird. We'd seen dessert for miles upon miles and all the sudden there was this huge lake that was as big as the ocean! Ok well, almost.

I swear to you this road had absolutely NO curves, NO turns, NO trees, no nothin for at least 6 hours straight. Trying to stay awake was a bit of a challange.

VEGAS BABY

Our home of one month! This was a fun place to live (as you could imagine)...and much better than Miami to say the least!!! We didn't take many pictures. Probably because most of the time we were inside staying away from the 112 degree temperature! So here's one of our two adventures to 'The Strip' dun dun dun dunnnnnnn

Where a lot of people lose a lot of money. Not us though :) yet, we didn't win anything either.)

Where are we again?

MGM or Bellagio. Eh, they're all the same.

The only picture we took in Vegas with both of us. And, its no good. Believe it or not there was a beautiful fountain back behind us. Apparently non-english speaking man didn't care to see that part of the picture. ha

FABULOUS IDEA

Who needs a camera cord when you have a memory card?? All this time....I've been waiting for the camera cord which was being stored at Saras when instead I could plug my memory card into the computer itselr. Genius. SO I'm going to try and post some pictures of the past couple months! Starting with....the drive from Florida to Vegas. 40 hours.
We drove through Alabama, Mississippi, Louisianna, Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, and finally Nevada. Wow. Here's a quick recap:

There were creepy ghost towns EVERYWHERE. So strange, its like you were going back in time. I believe this one was in New Mexico.
Flattering, lovely, beautiful, dreamy. There's really no other way to describe it. (Matt found it halarious to take pictures of my in my deep, deep, deep sleeps all along the way) hahaha enjoy. There's more..Ohh there's more...they're all flattering, lovely beautiful, and dreamy.

We stopped in Texas to go to SIX FLAGS!!!!! Best part of the trip by FAR. This ride was amaaaazing. 250 ft drop into a dark tunnel. The force was insane...you had to take a few minutes for your body to realize that 'hey, the rides over. relax'
Had to do it.....

Mississippi

This captures the feeling of the entire road trip. Molly, sleeping or day dreaming as she hovered over the ice chest wishing she could have a front row view. Matt, smiling as he drove every single mile of this adventure. I didn't drive one. WOW.

There ya have it....
PS. we really wanted to stop by chelsea and daves. When is the next time we'll be in Texas??! :( Unfortunately it was 6 hours off route and unfortunately we couldn't handle any more driving) Sorry Chelsea!! :(

Christmas in October

Matt and I are moved-in to our humble abode in Wilsonville! The last 3 days we have been unpacking box after box finding more and more goodies that we forgot all about! Hence the title of this post, it's been like Christmas opening up our old "stuff". I never thought I'd miss a 9x13 so much. haha Or my pink kitchen aid, THAT was exciting. :) But most of all, my own bed and furniture! It feels so good to be back and know that we aren't going anywhere for a while. The job search has been intense since we have gotten home. Our days existed of hitting up Craigslist, Jobdango, Career Builder...etc. and crossing our fingers for that magic phone call. Matt has gotten a job at AT&T starting the 15th. He is also working for Farmers Insurance on his down time to build clientel (sp?) which he hopes to make his job for the next few years at least. Me on the other hand, have not had the best of luck. I've got two interviews tomorrow and hopefully they go well!!
